Monday September 23, 2013 “Rescue”

This week let’s begin praying in agreement concerning those things in the news recently.  The Navy helicopter going down in the Red Sea reminds us that there is a focus on Biblical geography and activity in our world today.
The parting of the Red Sea allowing Israel to walk on dry ground to escape the Egyptian armies and then the subsequent wall of water coming in on the pursuing enemy speaks to us of Almighty God being the “Master of the Sea” then and now.
Let us join in prayer for the continued search efforts for the two crewmen missing and for those who were rescued already and their families for comfort and healing.  Also pray for our ongoing military mission in that region of the world.  Our young men and women deserve our continued prayers.
