Thursday September 26, 2013 “Disability – A Recession Option”

Between the years 2000 and 2012, people in America receiving benefits for disability swelled from 5 million to nearly 9 million. Some believe that the sharp increase is linked to the loss of jobs and people being unable to find new jobs. It seems that people who have been working with some form of disability are forced to take the “recession option” of disability income due to the lack of jobs available for Americans 50 through 64 years of age.
Prayer for America’s economic condition is in order as well as prayer for the health of our aging citizens and a renewed dream in the hearts of many to be financially self-sufficient.  Pray also that the entrepreneurial spirit that has made America great will find resurgence among middle-age and older Americans and that they be an inspiration to younger Americans to believe for a better tomorrow economically.
