Tuesday, January 28, 2014 “A Joy to Work”

Luke 1:13-14   But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. 14 And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth.
Once again I remind you that the Priest Zacharias was working when God spoke to him about the miracle on the way. I heard a report Sunday and Monday that some experts are saying the real unemployment rate in America could be 37-40%.  If this is true there is much reason to pray concerning the U.S. economy.
Today, let our prayer of agreement be that for the many unemployed, underemployed, people who have stopped looking for a job or in any other way are not counted in the total number of unemployed, not give up hope but instead pray to God who bestows favor in impossible times and situations. His supply results in joy and gladness. v. 14
