Sunday November 30, 2014 “Rejoicing, Ready and Suddenly”

2 Chronicles 29:36 “Then Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced that God had prepared the people, since the events took place so suddenly.”
Welcome to the Sunday evening edition of “We are the People”. Thanks for joining us for a minimum of 15 minutes of intercession focusing on 3 prayer points concerning America and God’s plans for us in these last days. Three things were necessary for God’s work to be accomplished in restoring Israel in King Hezekiah’s day ad they are important elements for revival in our times.
Focus #1 “Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced.” We are commanded to “enter His gates with Thanksgiving in our heart and enter His courts with praise.” Let us pray that believers approach God’s throne His way and that there be some leadership exercised by Washington D.C. in returning this nation that was built on Biblical principles to its roots in this hour of great need and opportunity.
Focus #2 “God prepared the people.” God always has a way and a people He uses to bring revival. Pray that as a people we will hear God with clarity as He prepares us to do His work in bringing America back to God and into fellowship and harmony with one another.
Focus #3 “The events took place suddenly.” As the Lord speaks in the letter to the church at Rome chapter 9 verse 28, that He will do a quick work bringing the Jewish people to Himself in the last times, let us pray that there be a sudden and quick work in America lest we become like Sodom and Gomorrah – wicked and destroyed. We desperately need God’s touch in our land, now.
