We Are The People

Isaiah 58:8 “⁸ Then your light shall break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily, and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.”

Yesterday we began a time of discovery in this Bible verse as to what we should expect when we fast and pray in accordance with God’s will.

Today’s emphasis is on healing that is promised in proper fasting.  America is rife with sickness spiritually, physically, mentally and emotionally – not to mention socially and morally.

Pray that believers in America see through the eyes of faith that not only as an individual and as a family but also our land can receive the blessing of healing speedily as the verse reveals.  In the Christmas story, Anna and Simeon understood this and spoke as though the yet to come change in their land was already accomplished.

Also pray that we will speak the solution and not about man’s problems so much.
