Saturday December 27, 2014 “Cry”

Isaiah 58:9 “Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer;
You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’ “If you take away the yoke from your midst,
The pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,”
     Yesterday we prayed that God answer the prayer for the needs of those who lack even the most basic staples of life. God said in this verse “you call, I will answer”.
Today we are encouraged to cry out unto the Lord. This is like Jesus taught that we should ask, then progress in the intensity of our intercession to seeking and knocking. When we do this, needs will be met and more important we will hear God say, “Here I am.” Remember, Jesus said. “My sheep hear my voice and follow me.” God will direct our practical serving and giving to the least of these which is like giving to God Himself. Matthew 25.
Pray in agreement today that God’s people who are serious about seeking him on the behalf of our nation will hear the Lord’s voice and follow Him as He leads us to whom we can help during pivotal times in other’s lives. Let us also pray that people in need will learn to cry out to God themselves and be introduced to Jesus as He reveals Himself to them in salvation. This is prayer that leads to revival.
