Wednesday March 11, 2015 “Things Not to Seek”

Matthew 6:31-33 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Jesus tells us that children of God are acting no better than unbelievers when they ”seek those things” that are promised to us by inheritance when we trust Jesus as Savior and Lord. Those things we truly need will come as a natural result of following Christ.
Pray in agreement today that we who believe will set the standard once again in America, revealing that God is our source. And that faith mixed with works is our path to provision. America must recognize that it is faith that made this nation great and we must return to our Good and Gracious Father.
