Sunday March 29, 2015 “How Much More”

Matthew 7:9-11 9 Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

Welcome once again to the Sunday evening edition of “We Are The People”. Tonight we will join our hearts in prayers of agreement as we focus on three main points of intercession a minimum of 15 minutes during the hours of 6 and 9 pm (all time zones). Thank you for joining us tonight.
Over the last week we have focused on the intensity of prayer Jesus calls us to. Tonight we will pray for a revelation of the goodness of good in the heart of Americans that will help us trust the Lord.
Prayer Focus #1 Pray that parents in America will not deceive their children by giving them things they ask for that would be detrimental to their spiritual health, like a stone instead of bread would not be healthy to eat. Pray that parents who know better will guide their children with truth about why certain things must be avoided to maintain spiritual health.
Prayer Focus #2 A snake was considered “unclean” Levticus chapt 11. Pray that parents teach their children by words and example to avoid uncleanness in all forms. In this way they will be good parents and guide the nation into righteous paths in the future.
Prayer Focus #3 Jesus tells us that the Heavenly Father is willing to answer our sincere intercession much more than an earthly parent is willing to give good things to their children.
Pray tonight that America once again see God as a willing and benevolent parent who desires to bless His children with good gifts. When America saw God in that light the nation trusted the Lord. May we return to our motto, “In God We Trust” and see the mighty Hand of God provide bountiful harvests of good once again.
