Tuesday May 5, 2015 “Praise Brings Possibilities”

Matthew 5:11-12 “11 “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
Jesus teaches peace can be found in the storm.  Conditions in life don’t always “turn on a dime,” however, in adversity a hope and a future can be found in giving thanks and praise before breakthroughs come.  As a matter of fact right attitudes in the darkness of pain and need bring forth a brighter tomorrow.
Jonah in the “belly of the whale” declared, “Those who observe lying vanities will forsake their own mercy, but I will offer the sacrifice of praise.”  This is when the prophet found God’s favor and deliverance.
Pray in agreement today that God’s people in America see through the eyes of faith a tomorrow filled with possibility as they learn to praise God in the darkness of their day that cannot prevent the light of God’s tomorrow from breaking through and Good News being proclaimed by the once imprisoned soul.
