We Are The People

Zechariah 1:6 “⁶ Yet surely My words and My statutes, Which I commanded My servants the prophets, Did they not overtake your fathers? “So they returned and said: ‘Just as the Lord of hosts determined to do to us, According to our ways and according to our deeds, So He has dealt with us.’”

“As the Lord determined to do to us, according to our ways and according to our deeds, so He has dealt with us.” Those words can cause great rejoicing or fear. God withholds blessings when we choose to willfully disobey God as an individual or as a nation. In recent years we have been guilty of sins that have caused us to “duck” more than reach up our arms to “Daddy” like a child would do.

Let us pray in agreement today that there will be the understanding among our leaders that impacts the “state of the union.” The economy, health care, foreign policy and racial tension in America will not change until the moral fabric of the nation changes. Pray that our leaders will cease to blame others or things and change the way they govern if America is to come out of its stupor and thrive once again.
