Monday February 29, 2016 “Undervalued”

Zechariah 11:12 12 Then I said to them, “If it is agreeable to you, give me my wages; and if not, refrain.” So they weighed out for my wages thirty pieces of silver.
The words are asking “what am I worth?” The prophet was bringing a word from heaven. He asks, “What is that worth to you?” The response: 30 pieces of silver. Exodus 21:32 tells us that was the price of a slave. In many instances that is what the man or woman of God and their word is worth in America today.   Perhaps some of the devaluation is due in part to the messengers not walking their talk, but the attitude mostly comes from those who reject God and His word.
Let us pray in agreement today that those with a true word from heaven be valued and respected once again. With the respect of the person comes respect for their words. Also pray that candidates running for President of the United States become people of their word and “THE WORD” so they might be valued by the people who will elect one of them to lead our nation in the days to come.
