Sunday March 13, 2016 “Jerusalem My Glory”

Zechariah 2:2-3 “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.
Good evening and welcome to our Sunday Night Edition of “We Are the People” prayer for America. We are so glad you have chosen to join us during this time of intercession. On Sunday it is asked that you invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement following the 3 focus points listed below. It is asked that if at all possible that your prayers be offered between the hours of 6 and 9 pm (all time zones) so as to join your prayers with others across the nation.
God bless you for having a heart for God and this nation we love and desire to see remain “One Nation under God.” Please invite others to join us.
Prayer Focus #1: Those who attack Israel will discover that it will become like a cup of drunkenness to the enemy. In other words they will become as one without good judgment and stagger as a drunken man. Pray tonight that as a nation America will not follow a path of enmity against Israel but choose to bless this land whom God has chosen to bestow His love and favor upon.
Prayer Focus #2: Jerusalem will be a heavy stone – set in place by God and for His people. People who attempt to make it anything other than God has made it will be destroyed. Pray this day that America will not only remain an ally with Israel but that we would also respect God’s Word that has set Jerusalem, the city of David, as its capital.
Prayer Focus #3: One day the nations will set themselves against Israel, the apple of God’s eye. We live in a day when many of Israel’s neighbors as well as nations worldwide are against the Jewish state. Let us pray that America will continue to stand with Israel even though many of the nations turn against her in these days. God’s blessing rests upon those who bless Israel. God’s Word declares it and that will never change. Let us stand where the blessings flow.
