Thursday March 24, 2016 “They Will Look At Me”

Zechariah 12:10 10 “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.
Then “they will look on me whom they pierced.”  Key word is “then.”  After an understanding of the power of God’s grace and prayer people look to Jesus who died upon the cross – pierced hands, feet and side for our sins.
The primary interpretation is the Jewish people seeing that Jesus is their Messiah.  The secondary interpretation can be a move of the Holy Spirit to convict people of sin that leads to salvation.  Pray that there be a move of God to convict people of sin so that they will see Jesus as their only means of forgiveness and salvation.
