We Are The People

Zechariah  14:11  “The people shall dwell in it;  And no longer shall there be utter destruction,
But Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.”

    Good evening and welcome to We Are The People prayer for our nation. Every Sunday evening we ask that our partners pray in agreement concerning 3 focus points of intercession. It is requested that you invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayer between the hours of 6 and 9  pm  (all time zones).

   Prayers of agreement are powerful.  Jesus said that if just 2 will agree on earth concerning a prayer need – it will be done by the Father in heaven.

   God richly bless you and yours for your love and concern for this great land – the U.S.A.  I encourage you to pass along information to family and friends that you think might join us at WATP.

Focus #1  “The people shall dwell in it.”  Of course this is referring to Jerusalem, Israel.  There are many people who live in Washington DC, our Capital City, but there are so many who do not know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

   Let us pray that God will bring more believers to the city in our day who will come with a burden to bring Jesus to the unsaved and righteousness to the streets of  D.C.

Focus #2  “There shall no longer be utter destruction.”  There has been so much destruction in D.C through drugs, violence, sexual misbehavior and gangs.

   Pray today that there be a move of God in Washington that will raise up a standard against the tide of evil that comes to steal, kill and destroy the land and its inhabitants.

Focus #3  “Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.”  There are many people who choose not to go into Washington, D.C. due to a threat to their safety.  Let us pray today that our nation’s capital be a place of safety for its citizens and visitors. Pray that law enforcement have wisdom in how to deal with crime and criminals and pray that there be a fear of God among the people in the city.
