Tuesday June 28, 2016 “Praying in the Dark”

Acts 16:25 25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
In the context of this verse we find Paul and Silas who were imprisoned for their faith praying in a very dark hour of their lives.
At times when things look bleak and the saint is weak he does everything but pray. This is because the enemy of man lies about how unworthy the person is and that all hope is gone.
Let us pray today for Christians in America who are in a dark season for no fault of their own yet they feel imprisoned and without hope. Ask God in prayer that He will inspire them to seek the Lord for guidance and faith to overcome.
