2 Corinthians 10:5:  “Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,”
Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night edition of “We Are the People.”  This night, we ask that God’s people intercede on behalf of America, praying in agreement with the prayer points listed below. It is asked that each person invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayer between the hours of 6 – 9pm all time zones.
May God richly bless you as you do your part in bringing our nation back to God. Please invite others to join us tonight as we bring a little heaven to earth through prayer.
Prayer Focus #1:   Bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.” Pray that every plot, plan, or scheme of the enemy be confounded that would threaten peace in this nation. Pray that every thought become obedient to the truth of God’s Word, which brings conviction and offers salvation.
Prayer Focus #2:   “Every thought captive.”  This speaks of spiritual warfare against wicked spirits that attempt to keep a person from surrendering their heart to Jesus Christ.  Pray in the Name of Jesus Christ that all manipulative spirits of darkness be bound that keep the sinner blind to God’s goodness, that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the persuasion of the Holy Spirit. Pray with confidence; bind the enemy with confidence.
Prayer Focus #3:  “Every thought captive.” Our own thoughts can run away with us so easily. We must practice keeping our focus on Jesus Christ and His kingdom. We must keep our heart from baggage of this world.
Pray that God’s people will desire to keep their minds filled with godly thoughts that will enable us to have the mind of Christ in a time when the evil one attempts to take our hearts in many different directions due to the rampant evil in our world.
