Wednesday September 28, 2016 “Light From Darkness”

2 Corinthians 4:6  “For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”
When a person crosses the line of accountability (knowing right from wrong) he or she has their heart darkened by sin.  Then, if that person allows the message of salvation to shine into their heart, light flows from that once dark place, giving light to others who need a path lit to the good news of the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
At one time in America there were many young believers in the land that influenced schools and playgrounds across the nation. Other children came to the knowledge of salvation through Jesus’ influence through their friends.  These children grew up to be moral adults who became light to the path for others who taught their children and grandchildren how to walk with God and become a blessing to their neighbors.
Pray today that we see a revival among our children and grandchildren that will influence the next generation of Americans to know the God of this nation and restore love and unity to all people.
