Sunday February 12, 2017 “The Homeland”

1 Kings 4:25-26 “25 And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, each man under his vine and his fig tree, from Dan as far as Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.  26 Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.
Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We Are The People” prayer for America.
Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors who choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m. using the three focus points listed below as a guide.  May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer this night.
As many of you know we have been praying for our new president since the inauguration using the accounts of the new King in Israel, Solomon, from the book of I Kings.  Thank you for joining us and invite others to join our many intercessors from sea to shining sea.
Prayer Focus #1:  God’s people dwelled safely all of the days of Solomon’s reign.  Let us pray tonight that all Americans will understand the value of safety in the land and support all efforts to make this nation safe from those outside and within our borders.  Pray for Homeland Security – especially departments like I.C.E.
Prayer Focus #2:  God’s people dwelled safely and experienced fruitfulness and the shade of protection under the vines and fig trees.  Pray tonight that the fruitfulness of the American system under our constitution will be restored as well as a sense of peace based on Biblical truth will be enjoyed by all Americans all the days of Donald Trump’s presidency.
Prayer Focus #3:  Verse 26 describes a ready army in Israel.  Well cared for and mighty.  Let us pray tonight that efforts to restore, update our military forces and the care of our soldiers will be successful and done expeditiously.
