Sunday April 2, 2017 “Building Houses”

1 Kings 6:37-7:1  “In the fourth year the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid, in the month of Ziv. 38 And in the eleventh year, in the month of Bul, which is the eighth month, the house was finished in all its details and according to all its plans. So he was seven years in building it. 7 But Solomon took thirteen years to build his own house; so he finished all his house.”
Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring  together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6 and 9 pm using the three focus points listed below as a guide.  May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer this night.  We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.
Prayer Focus #1  This scripture tells us that there were plans and details followed in building the Temple.  Let us pray today that there will be due diligence in regard to details when bills hit the floor of Congress.  There are so many lives and the future to consider every time business comes before the House and Senate.  Pray that there will be men and women who will give attention to details so that those who follow us in the future will experience blessing not burdens as a result of what is legislated today.
Pray Focus #2  There was a beginning and end time noted concerning the building of the Temple by Solomon.  Pray that President Trump, the legislative and Judicial branches of government will realize some items of business are timely. If there is no attention to this fact, windows of opportunity will open and close without positive change needed to keep our nation safe, prosperous and a light for the nations of the world to look to for an example to follow.
Prayer Focus #3  It took 7 years to complete the Temple and 13 years to complete Solomon’s house. Pray that the leaders of our nation from the greatest to the least – and leaders of churches across America will realize that what they do is not for self-interest but for our country and the  Kingdom of God. Priority must be given to those things that are not for personal gratification or personal agendas but for the good of God’s Work being done in America as we return to Him.
