Friday June 23, 2017 “Bring them Back”

1 Kings 8:33-34 33 “When Your people Israel are defeated before an enemy because they have sinned against You, and when they turn back to You and confess Your name, and pray and make supplication to You in this temple, 34 then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of Your people Israel, and bring them back to the land which You gave to their fathers.”
Solomon could foresee judgement on people due to their sins. He infers that they would be taken captive to a foreign land.  Pray today that as a people we would be desirous to see that those who have done wrong would be restored to their former place of blessing even though they had been penalized for their sins.  We must have a right spirit to see God’s total work of redemption be accomplished in the lives of people who have gone astray.
