Sunday December 10, 2017 “Relationships”

1 Kings 11:3  And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his wives turned away his heart.
Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring  together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6 and 9 pm using the three focus points listed below as a guide.  May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer this night.  We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.
So, a thousand mates of sorts –Just imagine the difficulties remembering the names of a thousand people –let alone their personalities and peculiarities. Today’s politicians must remember many people and how to interact with them.
Let us pray for our leaders, especially the president, that they will have good memories concerning people they must interact with.  (God forbid that there won’t be multiple wives or “concubines”.)
Prayer Focus #1  Pray for our leaders that they can pick up on information concerning key relationships and important details about them and how to deal with each one on important issues.
Prayer Focus #2  There were different levels of people one has relationship with – with Solomon it was wives “princesses” and concubines.  Relationship with a wife is most important. Pray that our leaders have wisdom in levels of relationships so that more attention be given to the ones closest in importance beginning with the family.
Prayer Focus #3  It was those closest in relationship to Solomon that affected him the most. Pray that our leaders, especially our President understand the principle of “iron sharpening iron” in relationships and that they will be cautious in who they make as close friends. Pray that God shield them from evil influences.
