1 Kings 15:4 Nevertheless for David’s sake the Lord his God gave him a lamp in Jerusalem, by setting up his son after him and by establishing Jerusalem.
The lamp of King David’s righteousness brought blessings to Israel many years after He went on to His heavenly reward. God brought blessing through Abijah’s son. Pray that there will emerge in America men and women who are spiritual descendants of the many heroes of faith we have been blessed with. Pray that they will bring the light of God’s glory to America in the days ahead. Also pray that all Americans will take time to thank God today for our freedom.
