Thursday, September 20, 2018 “The Brook Ran Dry”

1 Kings 17:6-7  The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook. And it happened after a while that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land
The days spoken of were desperate times. The source of provision was slowly slipping through the fingers of the prophet. Pray that the people of God will realize that their provision is from God and not brooks and birds. Also pray that we all will have our trust in God who made heaven and earth. He alone can bring water from rocks as He did for Israel in their wilderness wanderings.
