1 Kings 18:44-45 Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, “There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!” So he said, “Go up, say to Ahab, ‘Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.’” 45 Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel.
The words of God concerning the coming rain that king Ahab must prepare for and act on were powerful elements that would prepare the way for God’s blessing and restoration to fall upon the land.
Pray that as the winds of 2018 fell upon America resulting in a preparation for blessing, God’s people will not fear the dark clouds and heavy rains that will prepare the land for revival. “Fear not for I am with you says the Lord.”
