Sunday, February 24, 2019 “The Enemy’s Clans”

1 Kings 20:1 Now Ben-Hadad the king of Syria gathered all his forces together; thirty-two kings were with him, with horses and chariots. And he went up and besieged Samaria, and made war against it.
Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m. using the three focus points listed below as a guide.  May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight.  We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.
Ben-Hadad, king of Syria was a bad dude. Ahab, whom he was surrounding was also a bad guy married to an even worse person, Jezebel. Evil ones left to themselves will many times turn on each other and destroy themselves. We can see this in 2 Chronicles 20 with Moab, Ammon and Mt. Seir who came against Judah and King Jehoshaphat.
In our world today, there are nation with bad intentions who would like to bring down both America and Israel. Pray in agreement tonight that there would be divine intervention that will bring the enemies of God’s people to a place of confusion and defeat.
Prayer Focus #1: A coalition of 33 countries and their kings were united under king Ben-Hadad of Syria. There has always been a hatred for Israel from the regions of Syria. Pray that there will be a division in the ranks concerning plots against Israel and America by those who hate us.
Prayer Focus #2: Pray that America’s leaders will have wisdom in dealing with our enemies that seek our destruction and the destruction of our unique bond and love for Israel. Pray against lying spirits that would attempt to weaken that alliance we have with Israel.
Prayer Focus #3: Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We have promise in God’s word that prosperity comes to those who pray for Jerusalem’s peace. Pray for our continued commitment to Israel and its defense.
