Sunday April 7, 2019    “The Servants Say”

1 Kings 20:23– Then the servants of the king of Syria said to him,  “Their gods are gods of the hills. Therefore they were stronger than we; but if we fight against them in the plain, surely we will be stronger than they.
Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” prayer for America. Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m. using the three focus points listed below as a guide. May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight. We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.
The servants of the king of Syria thought they understood God and His people but God is awesome and unlimited in His abilities.
Prayer Focus #1: The servants made a big mistake thinking that there were “gods” that fought for Israel. There is only one true God who stands for the people of God. Pray that there will be confusion among the ranks of those whoa are the enemies of our nation. Pray that the misinformation will lead those who oppose America and the one God for which it stands will not be able to fulfill their mission against the plans God has for the nation.
Prayer Focus #2: The servants of the King of Syria were correct in thinking that God is the Lord of the hills and from a hill called Calvary. He brings freedom and victory over unrighteousness. Pray that the power of the cross will crush every enemy that would attempt to influence the move of God to restore righteousness in America!
Prayer Focus #3: The servants of Syria told their King that they were able to overcome Israel in the valleys. Pray that our leaders will realize that if we put God and His ways first even when we find ourselves in the valleys of life as a nation God will stand behind His word and protect our land.
