“Repentance” Friday April 26, 2019

1 Kings 20:31-  Then his servants said to him, “Look now, we have heard that the kings of the house of Israel are merciful kings. Please, let us put sackcloth around our waists and ropes around our heads, and go out to the king of Israel; perhaps he will spare your life.”
The sackcloth represented sorrow and repentance. The rope around the heads of the servants spoke of their surrender. Please pray today that there be a repentant attitude among those who have been very prideful and harmful in bringing division in our nation. May we turn from our pride and find forgiveness and the restoration of brotherhood in America.
