“Surrender” Saturday April 27, 2019

1 Kings 20:31-  Then his servants said to him, “Look now, we have heard that the kings of the house of Israel are merciful kings. Please, let us put sackcloth around our waists and ropes around our heads, and go out to the king of Israel; perhaps he will spare your life.”
The symbol of surrender on the servants of Ben Hadad, the ropes around their heads, spoke more than words could speak. Pray that we in America will have a spirit of surrender to the will and purposes of God in our days. We must allow God’s will to be accomplished and that requires that we get out of the way and make room for the hand of God to correct our course into the future.
