We Are The People

1 Kings 21:9-10- She wrote in the letters, saying, Proclaim a fast, and seat Naboth with high honor among the people;  and seat two men, scoundrels, before him to bear witness against him, saying, “You have blasphemed God and the king.” Then take him out, and stone him, that he may die.

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday night edition of “We are the People” prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00 and 9:00p.m. using the three focus points listed below as a guide.  May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight.  We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

“She is Jezebel the wicked queen, wife of Ahab.” Her track record was like the man in the insurance commercial, “Chaos.”

Prayer Focus #1: “Sat Naboth in high honor.” Naboth was being set up for a disastrous fall. Pray that our leaders in Washington will not fall for the traps set for them by those who build people up only to see them fall from the heights. Also pray that good godly leaders will recognize the plans for chaos by the enemy.

Prayer Focus #2: “Binds of a feather flock together.” Jezebel was the queen of liars and so it was easy to find others who would be willing to bring her desires to pass, liars “Scoundrels” rarely tell the same story twice. Pray that all liars will be exposed, including the one behind all chaotic lies, satan himself.

Prayer Focus #3: Those who believed a lie would execute the innocent Naboth. Pray that people would not believe lies about good people and rush to judgement. God’s word tells us that He would give people up to delusions that they would believe a lie. Pray that all Americans have a love for truth and not be given over to deception.
