2 Kings 2:10 10 So he said, “You have asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so.”

In verse 9 Elisha asked a double portion of Elijah’s Spirit. The answer Elijah gave was the same that Jesus gives us: “They that endure to the end shall be saved.” Pray that believers in America will have the tenacity and patience to stay the course, follow to the end and not be swayed by opinions and popular thought. We must hold fast to “Thus says the Lord” in all things.
