Sunday, November 17, 2019 “Simple Matters”

2 Kings 3:17 & 18 17 For thus says the Lord: ‘You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink.’ 18 And this is a simple matter in the sight of the Lord; He will also deliver the Moabites into your hand.

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday night edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America. Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. using the three focus points listed below as a guide. May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight. We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

The Prophet Elisha describes a great miracle, yet he says that this will be simple when God is in it. The Nation of Israel and others were experiencing spiritual drought. The hand of God must move among His people. God answers through a miracle.

Prayer Focus #1 PRAY that our President and all national leaders will see that it has been a spiritual drought in America that has created an atmosphere of a moral vacuum that has created a culture of confusion as to what is right and what is wrong.

Prayer Focus #2 PRAY that the challenges we face as a nation will be recognized by all Americans as being a simple matter to remedy in the eyes of Almighty God.

Prayer Focus #3 God spoke to His people – that in addition to the provision of water (typology – Holy Spirit), He would bring victory over the Moabites. PRAY that the leaders of our nation will see the fact that miracles will multiply as they trust in God for His intervention as we face insurmountable challenges on so many fronts today.
