Thursday May 7, 2020 “Borrowed Items”

2Kings 6:5-6 But as one was cutting down a tree, the iron ax head fell into the water; and he cried out and said, “Alas, master! For it was borrowed.”  6 So the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float.

The axe head was lost in the waters of the Jordan and the man who lost it was distraught because he lost the borrowed axe head. On the practical side of things, it truly is something we should be concerned with if we lose a borrowed item. Whether that be a talent on loan from God or an item borrowed from another person.
Pray that we will be more careful with things that belong to others than our own possessions as we begin our economy recovery in America.
