We Are The People

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America. Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the three focus points listed below as a guide. 2 Kings 6:17 And Elisha prayed, and said, “LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

Elisha first was faced with a panic stricken servant, then he dealt with the fears the servant had due to the fact the servant couldn’t see what the Prophet saw. Now Elisha does the right thing and prays for his servant.

Prayer Focus #1 There are many prayers the Prophet could have prayed. But Elisha’s prayer was “open my servant’s eyes”. He knew if the servant saw what he saw, that fear and panic would have no place. Let us pray that the church in America will see the root cause of Covid 19 as spiritual and take authority Jesus gives us over spirits of infirmity and bind the spirits hell in Jesus’ Name!
Prayer Focus #2 The Lord answered Elisha’s prayer by opening the eyes of his servant. The Apostle Paul wrote that Satan has blinded the eyes of those who have not seen the truth of the Gospel. Pray that the blindness be taken from the eyes of people who do not see the spiritual attack upon our land and the power of God to overcome sin, sickness and financial chaos.
Prayer Focus #3 The horses and chariots of fire were all around the Prophet Elisha. It wasn’t simply that the chariots were on the mountainside, they were around the man of God. Pray that there will be men and women of God who will sense the angelic presence and protection as they follow God and His word.
