Monday June 15, 2020 “A Feast Leads to the Master”
2 Kings 6:23 Then he prepared a great feast for them; and after they ate and drank, he sent them away and they went to their master. So the bands of Syrian raiders came no more into the land of Israel.
The king of Israel listened to the Prophet Elisha and the king did as the word of God commands, “Bless your enemies”. He fed them and sent them to their master. Pray that people of God will “turn the other cheek” when there is opportunity to show the love of Christ to those who oppose them. In doing so – as the Syrian Army went to their master – pray that those who oppose us will be turned to Jesus, our Master, by seeing Christ in us.
