Monday June 22, 2020 “Let’s Eat – Not”
Kings 6:28-29 Then the king said to her, “What is troubling you?” And she answered, “This woman said to me, ‘Give your son, that we may eat him today, and we will eat my son tomorrow.’ 29 So we boiled my son, and ate him. And I said to her on the next day, ‘Give your son, that we may eat him’; but she has hidden her son.”
The mother whose son her and another lady ate wasn’t so much concerned about her son losing his life as she regretted not being able to eat the neighbor boy. How gross! Pray that in our communities there will be women who will teach other ladies how to love their children and other’s children. We are our brother’s keepers.
