Wednesday July 1, 2020 “Wait on the Lord”

2 Kings 6:33 And while he was still talking with them, there was the messenger, coming down to him; and then the king said, “Surely this calamity is from the LORD; why should I wait for the LORD any longer?”

Even the heathen king knew that if trouble or calamity is from the Lord that there is no one that can stand against it. Pray that people who are even our adversaries will see that when God is in something it is best to let it work its way out and not try to help the Lord. Men think on the here and now and many times do not consider that God’s ways and timing is always best.
