2 Kings 8:2-3 So the woman arose and did according to the saying of the man of God, and she went with her household and dwelt in the land of the Philistines seven years. 3 It came to pass, at the end of seven years, that the woman returned from the land of the Philistines; and she went to make an appeal to the king for her house and for her land.

So, the prophet told the woman that there would be a 7 year famine in the land so go wherever you can to survive. So she did – then she returned to her own people after spending 7 years with the Philistines.
Let us pray today that God’s people in America who have been in a “Philistine” land (not living for God) will see this as the right time to arise and shine for Jesus is these days when it seems that many have abandoned faith for fables that only creates more talk and no action.
