2 Kings 8:9 So Hazael went to meet him and took a present with him, of every good thing of Damascus, forty camel-loads; and he came and stood before him, and said, “Your son Ben-Hadad king of Syria has sent me to you, saying, ‘Shall I recover from this disease?’ ”

Hazael did exactly as Elisha said to do – including the generous gift he gave to the prophet. Pray that there will be faithful stewards and servants who will give good gifts to the work of God in our days when there can be large expenses that come unexpectedly for ministers and ministries. These gifts can come from governments also but pray there be no strings attached.
