2 Kings 8:16 Now in the fifth year of Joram the son of Ahab, king of Israel, Jehoshaphat having been king of Judah, Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat began to reign as king of Judah.

Kings of Israel and Judah were transitioning into seats of authority. Joram replaced Ahab over Israel and Jehoram began to reign in Judah replacing Jehoshaphat. We also discovered in v. 15 Hazael began to reign over Syria. Whenever there is a change in leadership there will be a change in a city, state or nation. Pray in advance to prepare the way for all changes of leadership in your area of the country and our nation so we will experience good transitions of power and that our leaders respect and obey our constitution, amendments, etc.
