2 Kings 8:28 Now he went with Joram the son of Ahab to war against Hazael king of Syria at Ramoth Gilead; and the Syrians wounded Joram.
War always has casualties. King Joram was wounded in a battle with Syrian forces. Physical injuries are bad abut emotional injuries can even be worse.
The prevailing battles between political parties have been fierce and the wounds have gone deep due to lies and accusations. Pray that there will be healing of wounds inflicted through hate and misunderstandings. Also pray that there will be a return to simple debate on issues and let there be clarity on positions so the American public will know how to vote on November 3.
