Elisha was a man who was given a double portion anointing of the Holy Spirit by God. He called one of the “prophets in training” to go and anoint Jehu to become the next king of Israel.
Pray that the Holy Spirit will move in the lives of God’s people to “anoint” (set apart) leaders in the upcoming elections Nov. 3. Just as Jehu was hand selected by God through Elisha, the Lord will enable His children to “anoint” the leaders necessary to restore righteousness through prayer and the privilege to vote for our elected leaders.
