2 Kings 10:27  Then they broke down the sacred pillar of Baal, and tore down the temple of Baal and made it a refuse dump to this day.

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the three focus points listed below as a guide.  May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight.  We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

Jehu was determined to rid God’s people of the blight of evil in the land.  It seems there was a “special” sacred pillar of Baal’s Temple that had to be reduced to a garbage dump.

Prayer Focus #1 Pray that the “special” sacred pillar that fuels the works of evil in America be revealed and dealt with so as to have Satan’s works cut off.

Prayer Focus #2  Pray that the Temple or “house” where this evil in America has its roots be torn down or rooted out by people with good hearts and godly goals for America’s future.

Prayer Focus #3  With the pillar and house dealt with at its core, the Baals were reduced to a garbage dump.  Pray that many eyes will be open in America so they might see that what has been brought to America as an alternative be seen for what it is, Refuse.
