Sunday December 27, 2020 “Jehu Did Well”

2 Kings 10:30 “30 And the Lord said to Jehu, “Because you have done well in doing what is right in My sight, and have done to the house of Ahab all that was in My heart, your sons shall sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the three focus points listed below as a guide.  May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight.  We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

Jehu was not a perfect man, but he did some things perfectly according to the will of God and God rewarded his service unto the Lord. Tonight, let us join our hearts together in prayer that God’s perfect will be accomplished in America through our leaders in Washington D.C. who are not perfect, but they are His servants.

Prayer Focus #1 Pray that people will step up and do well in the sight of God like His servants did in the book of Judges. When the judges ruled, Israel did well, but when people did what was right in their own eyes the nation suffered heartache and defeat.

Prayer Focus #2 Pray that God’s people in leadership will do what is in the heart of God in dealing with evil that has usurped God’s position in the land. We have suffered due to our tolerance in regard to those who hate America and all that we consider treasures of this land of the free because of the brave.

Prayer Focus #3 Because Jehu did well there would be four generations of leaders that would follow his lead. Pray that we would have a string of good leaders in the land that will bring America back to God and establish righteousness in the land.
