We Are The People

2 Kings 11:4 “In the seventh year Jehoiada sent and brought the captains of hundreds—of the bodyguards and the escorts—and brought them into the house of the Lord to him. And he made a covenant with them and took an oath from them in the house of the Lord, and showed them the king’s son.”

For 6 years there was terror spearheaded by the usurper “Queen” Athaliah. A seventh year is a Sabbath year of rest. That rest can be produced by people committed to rest being restored to a land. Jehoiada was that kind of guy. He risked it all defying Athaliah. Death would be his fate if his Sabbath year plan failed.

Pray today that God will raise up people who will be committed to America’s future and lay it all on the line for freedom and true democracy in our land. People like George Washington did it and we must find those of kindred spirit who will do it again.
