We Are The People

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America.  Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the three focus points listed below as a guide.  May God bless you for your concern for America’s future expressed in prayer tonight.  We encourage you to join us in prayer daily and invite others to join us.

2 Kings 11:8 “But you shall surround the king on all sides, every man with his weapons in his hand; and whoever comes within range, let him be put to death. You are to be with the king as he goes out and as he comes in.”

Although we don’t have a king in America, we do have a President. We all know that the media is concerned about Joe Biden and Inauguration Day. However, there must also be vigilance in protecting our sitting president. With much attention on the one let us not be careless about protection of the other. This brings us to our 3 Prayer Points this evening.

Prayer Focus #1 As young Joash, heir to the throne, was covered on all sides let us pray that all areas of danger will be covered the next couple of days but also in the years to come. There are so many areas of life that could present danger. Pray that those charged with protecting our high-level leaders will have their eyes, ears and hearts open to any impending danger. Hearts open? Yes, to hear God like Jehoiada did so that Joash will be kept safe for later leadership as king.

Prayer Focus #2 Man and weapon ready to be used and if need be, utilize to defend the young Joash. Pray today that all law enforcement and military charged with the protection of Americas top leaders will be ready, willing and able to provide security with vigilance and readiness.

Prayer Focus #3 The travels of our President and other high level leaders are many and many times are to dangerous territory in the states and abroad. Pray that as our President’s advanced teams will have current and accurate intel so that trips will be safe and effective like that which was provided for Joash.
