2 Kings 12:3 “But the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places.”

The high places were not removed under Jehoash’s reign. He did right things personally and leading Israel but he did not undo that which took the nation to the place of idolatry. Pray that the “high places” or “high things” as Paul called them will be pulled down as strongholds of idolatry by the power of God in the church through spiritual warfare in prayer and proclamation.
