2 Kings 12:3 “But the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places.”

The people worshipped that which was an abomination to the Lord. Today people are worshipping the idols of abortion, same sex relationships, gambling and many things that are evil, like the legalization of drugs, etc. Pray that our leaders will hear the voice of truth like Jehoash did and follow that path of righteousness.
