2 Kings 12:4 “And Jehoash said to the priests, “All the money of the dedicated gifts that are brought into the house of the Lord—each man’s census money, each man’s assessment money—and all the money that a man purposes in his heart to bring into the house of the Lord,”

Jehoash desired good financial stewardship under his reign. Then and now there are many special interests that want to use finances in a way that dishonors God or is just plain wasteful. Jehoash wanted to account for all income and how it was spent. Pray that our leaders beginning with the least to the President himself will understand and practice God-honoring, physical responsibility concerning our nation’s finances.
