2 Kings 12:17 “Hazael king of Syria went up and fought against Gath, and took it; then Hazael set his face to go up to Jerusalem.”

With his victory at Gath, Hazael now was emboldened to attack Jerusalem, the City of God. The enemy of men’s soul find it easy pickings to come against people who do not know God. They are already walking in darkness. In America, we saw sheep without a shepherd beginning with the 1960’s and during that time, Satan led people down paths of destruction. But the enemy of God and His people was not satisfied with swift victory over those left to their own in the wilderness of sin.

Next to the enemy of men’s souls went after the Church, the Bible, the honor God alone deserves. Pray that there will be a move of God in the church that will not only turn back Satan’s advances against the church but that there will also be territory restored that has been possessed by the devil in our society. Righteousness will exalt the nation.
