Sunday March 28, 2021 “Might and Right”
2 Kings 13:12-13
“ Now the rest of the acts of Joash, all that he did, and his might with which he fought against Amaziah king of Judah, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel? 13 So Joash rested[a] with his fathers. Then Jeroboam sat on his throne. And Joash was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel.”
Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We are the People” Prayer for America. Every Sunday we bring together the hearts of intercessors that choose to invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement between the hours of 6:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. using the three focus points listed below as a guide. All good things and bad things must come to an end. Thus, it was with Joash who was guilty of evil that was revealed in using his might against Amaziah King of Judah.
Prayer Focus #1 Pray that there will be men and women in the House of the Senate that will be able to come upon legislative decisions that will be good for America, not just an agenda or political party.
Prayer Focus #2 Pray that America’s leaders will have wisdom in using the powerful might of our military, technology and finances to do what is right for America and the international community.
Prayer Focus #3 Pray that all of our leaders will realize that their time will come to an end as it was with Joash. What each person did in decision making will be remembered in the days to come by not only their children and grandchildren but also by all Americans. Decisions made today will determine the landscape of tomorrow.
